i love sophie.
ross took these photos of me and sophie, and it must say, it feels like he gave me a present.
i cant stop looking at them; sophie is the apple of my eye, and i love how in every picture you can just see in my face how proud i am of her, my little darling.
ross, you are an amazing photographer. you captured this perfectly. thank you.
you are the best.

interactions.
i recently pulled some stills from atonement for a treatment, and i've kind of become obsessed with them. i've adored the movie since the first time i saw it, but there's something about the tension and emotion that come through in each silent frame, that makes me feel like i'm watching the whole film in a single moment.
and it kind of makes me teary.
ah, there's nothing like a love story ( set around WWII ) ...
stills from the film, and publicity shots from ign.com.

polaroids.
here are a few polaroids that ross took on saturday, with a really really old camera we found in a junk shop and some really old polaroid film, a present from doug.
first its me riding TT, the bay mare i ride at my riding school, and then me long-lining my sweet baby sophie, with a saddle and bridle. she gets all giraffe on me with the bridle, methinks specially just for the camera. she still thinks the whole training thing is weird, and i'm pretty sure that she doesnt know that horses are ridden by humans.
pay attention, sophie, its gonna happen to you.
thanks so much ross, i really love how they came out... weird emulsion effects, faded colours, empty patches, focus issues... it rules.
